What can Connect connect to?
Pretty much everything! a van ladder, street sign, railing, or whatever else is in front of you for a quick pre-ride check or tune up at the trailhead or parking lot before a group ride. Connect can clamp to round, rectangular, and even flat countertop like surfaces.
How much weight can Connect hold?
We recommend using Connect with bikes under 55 lbs. However, Connect can clamp to heavier
bikes if the support structure is sturdy.
Can you use Connect on any bike?
Connect’s wide jaw opening and thermoplastic jaw inserts make it compatible with almost all
seat posts and support structures. And if you still think your bike won’t fit, use the detachable
dual-position clamp design to change the position of one or both clamps to best suit the type of
seat post or surface you are clamping it to.
Will Connect rust?
The core components are all made out of anodized aluminum and stainless steel so they do
very well with rust, but Connect is also entirely modular and each individual component can be
replaced if need be, so if rusting does occur after a while a screw or a washer can be taken out
and replaced.
How can I get replacement inserts?
Our inserts are made from an incredibly resilient thermoplastic and would rarely need to be
replaced - that said, they are super easy to swap out. We designed them this way because we
plan to introduce inserts of various shapes and sizes for clamping unique seat posts or support
structures. Replacement inserts and other parts will be available on our website.
